Many of the new clients that I meet carry a lot of shame around what brings them to see me – such as their habits, motivation, and size.

But all I see is courage.

And that’s because I believe it takes a great deal of courage to show up in your life. To make an appointment with a stranger and voice your vulnerable concerns.

So if you’ve ever had a challenging food day, not believing your body can be trusted, but yet you:

Decided not to diet.
Took care of yourself.
Asked for help.

I hope you know just how brave you are.

Because “Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow.” ― Mary Anne Radmacher

Showing up and learning to trust your body takes time. I encourage you to take it one (brave) day at a time and be kind to yourself in the process (please). You’ve got this.

One of my beloved clients Marya walks a courageous walk, and I’m so honored to share her positive progress with you today.

“Before I started seeing Claire, I feel like I didn’t treat my body right. I didn’t give it the respect it needs and deserves. My motivation to change my eating habits were initially externally and not internally motivated.

Through talking to Claire, I realized that I need to handle myself kindly and gently in order to understand, and consequently, accept my body and its signals to me.

Our physiology is fascinating!

It pretty much regulates itself, especially if we listen to what it’s asking of us. But unfortunately, we ignore those natural communication queues for various reasons.

Mine was my lack of belief in it.

My journey is just beginning but I’m already noticing a difference in my relationship with myself and food.
Some of which include simple lifestyle additions like a cup of water each morning or a wholesome breakfast, that really enhance the quality of my days.

Paying attention to what my body wants and needs has been at the heart of all these alterations. It’s a slow awareness process, and it’s surely worth it!” – Marya Kayyal

Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday! xo
